The focus of programs at EMDI goes way beyond simply imparting knowledge. We strive to make our students industry ready, with requisite training, knowledge, skill, execution capabilities and well-honed creativity. Industry professionals come in for guest lectures and discussions, and special modules on Entrepreneurship. Our students go on regular site visits and attend industry relevant workshops with industry faculty and constant interaction, coupled with hands-on working on events.
We ensure that our Event Management students assist in conceptualizing, planning and executing events. They also assist, in other aspects, some of the biggest events India has seen. Whether it is the coveted Barclays Premier League, The Kala Ghoda Festival, The Times Literature Festival, The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon or televised events like Dance India Dance and Bigg Boss – the list is endless. Our students have worked on an entire gamut of events, helping organize popular music fests such as NH7 Weekender and EVC. And, they earn while they learn!
